In my continued effort not to buy more clothes that I don’t really need, I’ve recently updated my wardrobe with a bit of bling. According to Vogue, the chunky chain is having a renaissance and with the addition of these banging earrings I’m channeling my inner Alexis Colby Carrington and really getting into the 80s vibe.
The necklace is from Hardware Vintage Jewellery – a concession at Topshop Oxford Circus, brimming with unique pieces of vintage designer jewellery – and the earrings were £5.99 at good old H&M. I think they look way more expensive – what do you think?
While we’re on the subject of the 80s, can we also celebrate the return of the scrunchie? It’s the one thing that makes my super fine hair look almost soignée.
The scrunchie in the photo is from Asos and I’ve just ordered these in a vintage scarf print which as well as being very on trend will, I think, add a chic (and cheap) update to my autumn wardrobe.
What I’m wearing: Necklace: Hardware Vintage Jewellery at Topshop | Earrings: H&M | Scrunchie: Asos | Sunglasses: Le Specs (old) | Top: Zara (old)
