Yet again life has got in the way of the blog. When is it ever not busy??? These pictures were taken weeks ago and I thought I wouldn’t be able to use them but the top is actually still in stock at Next. There’s no getting away from statement sleeves at the moment and I think they make an everyday jeans and trainers type outfit a lot more interesting. There is, however, a downside in that they can get in the way if you’re doing a bit of housework or cooking. My solution? Put your feet up and deliveroo (is that a verb).
I also want to point out the necklace which I think looks really high end but is, in fact, from H&M. And the belt was my Mother’s Day present to myself (thanks kids). Not cheap, but I’ve already worn it so much that cost-per-wear it’s a bargain.
What I’m wearing: Top: Next | Jeans (old): Zara | Trainers: Adidas | Necklace: H&M | Belt: Gucci
I love this outfit, particularly the belt. It is on my birthday present list for next week because of this post, it looks amazing!

Hi Ceri! I got this belt for my birthday yesterday but the buckle looks quite gold a silvery gold. I don’t particularly like gold and only wear silver. Your belt looks silver in the picture we checked the site and I do t think this style comes in silver so I may keep this as it’s not too gold but I’d much prefer it silver did you see it in silver? Thanks Bridget

Hi Bridget, I bought mine in Selfridges and I’m pretty sure there were belts with silver buckles too. I just checked the website and it’s not much use but there was a good selection in the Oxford Street store. Hope you find one…x
