Last week I was lucky enough to dine out at Duck and Waffle (http://duckandwaffle.com) in London; the highest restaurant in the UK. The food was seriously delicious and the views spectacular. As we dined we were looking down on the Gherkin and Tower Bridge and in spite of the rain it was stunning. It was also an opportunity to get dressed up. I didn’t want to do the whole dressy jeans thing (see New Year’s Resolution #2), opaques didn’t feel dressy enough and it was too cold and wet to be travelling on the tube with bare legs so I went for a leggings/dress combo. The asymmetric dress was a sale bargain from All Saints and the wet look leggings and pink suede boots completed the look. It’s not the clearest picture but hopefully you get the gist.

What I’m wearing: Dress: All Saints | Leggings: H&M | Boots: Next | Cuff: Jaeger

And these are the tiles. 40 floors up.

#2 In 2015 I’m determined not to get stuck in a style rut and as I tend to grab jeans from the wardrobe most mornings I’m going to aim for three jeans-free days a week.

What I’m wearing: Coat: Monsoon | Jumper: Gap | Skirt: Next | Boots: Clarks | Sunglasses: Gucci

#3 Finally, I’ll continue to look for bargains. Watch this space …

Finally got my act together and decided on a few resolutions for 2015.  First is to eat more fat while cutting back on processed foods, carbs and sugar, so I’ve invested in some new cookery books to inspire me. Hoping to save time and money by experimenting with healthy stews in my new slow cooker (top Christmas pressie).

What I’m reading: The Art of Eating Well : Hemsley & Hemsley | Davina’s 5 Weeks To Sugar-Free : Davina McCall | Slow Cooked : Miss South
