Necklace layering. It’s a thing. If you can’t decide which necklace to wear just wear them all. Although I think three is about right.

What I’m wearing: Silver kiss: Tiffany | Silver leaf: Accessorize | Silver beads: Kurt Geiger

Gold and diamond wire: Cox & Power | Gold chains: vintage

A family birthday earlier this month meant an opportunity to try out a (relatively) new local restaurant for Sunday lunch, @HeirloomN8, and the chance to dress up a bit instead of lolling on the sofa all day catching up with Brendan on Coach Trip (which is also good but it’s nice to have a change).  Sadly I wasn’t quick enough to get the leopard print ankle boots I wanted from Zara but I rediscovered these snakeskin boots bought in the Next sale a few years ago.  The navy top by Suzy D is a recent buy from another new local boutique @LazariClothing.

What I’m wearing: Top: Suzy D | Leggings: H&M | Boots: Next | Sunglasses: Gucci

This time last week I was heading to Oxford Street to look at, and hopefully buy something from, the Alexander Wang X H&M collection. What was I thinking? I couldn’t get close. But never one to miss a shopping opportunity I found the perfect grey cashmere sweater in Zara. And when I got home, as if they knew about my Alexander Wang fail, there was an email from ASOS offering big discounts so I treated myself to these fab Caterpillar boots. Perfect with my (fake) leather leggings and a good winter investment. Bring on the snow!

What I’m wearing: Sweater: Zara | Leggings: H&M | Boots: Caterpillar | Bag: Plumo

The Indian summer is finally over and I’m ready to get wrapped up in coats and boots and general cosy stuff. This jacket was a midsummer purchase that I’ve been so impatient to wear. I love the boxy, oversize look and the colour will brighten up the gloomy winter days to come. And what better than pearl accessories to complement the winter white.

What I’m wearing: Jacket: Marks and Spencer | Top: Asos | Leggings: H&M | Boots: Next | Sunglasses: Gucci | Earrings: Asos | Necklace: V&A Shop

I’m always on the lookout for a stylish day dress to throw on as an alternative to jeans. I think I might have found it …
